Change your genes?

I saw a very brief report on the local news last night about a study that found healthy lifestyle changes - exercising and eating a very low fat diet along with reducing stress - can actually alter your genes. It sounds like the study focused on a specific gene that determines risk of some cancers, and found that these lifestyle changes turned off the genetic information that increased the cancer risk. I’d love to read more about it - it’s in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, so I’m sure it will be all over the news soon enough. I’m definitely going to be on the lookout to find out more about the study and its results.
